"As far as I'm concerned, candy corn is a vegetable."
Cricut owl pillow box, Kraft card stock, Nuvo drops, Bazzil Dotted Swiss card stock, Tim Holtz sanding tool, leaf brad embellishment, black epoxy dots for eyes
Hi everyone,
My Cricut is my favorite tool when I need to come up with a cute favor for any occasion. I wanted to take a festive treat to my besties for our bi-monthly paper crafting group and I was excited to find this darling owl pillow box cut in Cricut Design Studio for only a dollar.
Dressed in fall colors and filled with the tastiest of fall candies, I knew this little lady was bound to please. I sized her body at 5 " by 6" so I could fill her with a heaping bag of candy corn goodness.
My friends loved her and were happy to enjoy some goodies while we crafted. Although we'll have to say goodbye to candy corn to make way for all the delicious traditional Christmas delights. there's no problem here. It was simple to embellish this basic owl Cricut cut in red and green holly and fill her with Christmas candy for the ladies at my Daughters of Utah Pioneers Christmas dinner. Like I said, I love my Cricut!!!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
Thanks for visiting.
Go forth and create something fabulous.
Nancy
