May your home always be too small to hold all your friends.
Irish blessing
Top o' the mornin’ to ya” from Nannyland,
As cardmakers, we know how blessed we are to be able to use our creative passion to send love in a very personal way to those we treasure . March birthdays are such a great way to add some St. Patrick's Day flair to a standard birthday greeting. Along with two birthday cards this month, I also took the opportunity to tell a cherished artistic cohort how much I appreciate her friendship with this darling Mo Manning leprechaun.
The inside of the card says: "A good friend is like a four leaf clover; hard to find and lucky to have." I know! Too cute, eh? This sweet sentiment came with the digital image. Green gems add a little glitz to the center of her dimensional lucky clovers but aren't they missing a leaf? Thank heavens we can always depend on constant blessings from above rather than random luck for our fate. (But I still put a penny in my shoe if I find one on the ground...just to cover my bases.) The hat band is paper pieced with shamrock digital paper and shaded with Copics. .
My digital background paper is a simple wash of green and yellow to match my limited Copic color palette. The black frame was sized to fit a 6" x 6" square card in Cricut Design Space and cut out on my Cricut Maker.
One more shamrock-adorned birthday card to create. Let the shenanigans continue!
Thanks for visiting Nannyland.
I'll just be here blissfully creating until your next visit.
